UPDATE ON UZBEKISTAN: Training has now been completed and the factory is ready to start production. PLHS production experts will arrive in Tashkent, Uzbekistan during the third week of July to assisst with the start up of the factory. All of the tools and machinery have been shipped and put in place in the factory. Container with all the modular raw material components have been shipped and received in Tashkent. Those material are now at the factory and being unloaded into their respective positions at the factory. The management team in Tashkent has started hiring the initial employees to begin the production line. After a week of safety training and tool usage, the production will be ready to begin operation. With the support of the Penn Lyon Housing System team, the factory will be up and running before the end of July. High government officials will be on hand for the delivery of the first modular home from the Tashkent factory. This operation is fully supported by the Uzbekistan government and without their support this project would not have been possible. More news will follow when the production line is producing the first modular homes in Uzbekistan.
