FACTORY STARTS IN TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN

First module rolls down the production line at the new Miaraka modular factory in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.  After many months of preparation, the production line is up and running.  Many government officials including representatives from the US Embassy in Tashkent attended opening and dedication ceramonies of the first modular home ever produced in the country of Uzbekistan.  Penn Lyon Housing Systems in cooperation with Miaraka Invest, Inc is proud to have been a very important part of this project.

All of the attendees were inspired by the fact that a home could be produced in such a short time period.  It is certain that the modular housing industry will do just fine in Uzbekistan.  The first home is a 1,100 square foot 3 bedroom 1 bath ranch model.  22 additional ranch models will follow this first model.  In addition a large two story home will be produced for a buyer living in Tashkent.  Many interested buyers have expressed interest in the new modular home concept.
